Who We Are
Riot Room (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Riot-Room.com website (the “service” or “site”).
What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
Shop Feminist Art
If you buy products directly from the site, for example from our Feminist Art Series, we will collect some necessary personal information from you such as your name, address, email address, phone number and your card details. We will only use this information for the purposes intended, such as to deliver your order and contact you about that order.
Consent Culture Project
Any information you choose to submit to the Consent Culture database via the online form will be public and listed in the database which is published to the Consent Culture Project webpage. No identifiable information about you will be collected, unless you choose to publish your name.
You can choose which information to share on the form and can choose to remain anonymous if you wish. We are very grateful for all contributions, please only share what you are happy to make public.
We use Google Analytics to track our usage data over time in order to improve our service. Google Analytics stores cookies on users’ PCs to keep track of usage data. To find out more, please click on the link “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or app”.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Our site includes links to The Spark Company, Waterstones, YouTube, TED, The Guilty Feminist, Pregnant Then Screwed, Flickr, Ticket Master, Acast, Entale and BBC.
We have partnerships with the affiliate marketing networks Awin and Impact. Some of our pages contain affiliate links, which are all clearly marked with an asterisk and mean that if you purchase anything using that link, we may receive a small commission.
Affiliate links are tracked using cookies which allow our partners to understand how traffic is referred and to pay commission if necessary. Personally identifiable information on the user are neither collected nor processed nor used in tracking. Nothing but the information when and on which device a click on an advertisement occurred is stored in tracking cookies. Our partners only store an individual sequence of figures that cannot reveal the name of a particular user.
While tracking, our partners may also collect information on the device that is used to perform a business transaction such as the device’s operating system and browser. They collect this data and share it with Advertisers, Publishers and Agencies which use their network from time to time.
